Before you buy any phone, even on a Nokia N8 12 month deal, it’s important to understand the pros and cons of the handset and what it’s good at. The Nokia N8 has received mainly good reviews, but there are a few problems and limitations which you should know about before you decide to buy.
To start with the Nokia N8 has one of the best cameras that you’ll find on any smart phone. If you love taking snapshots with your handset then the Nokia N8 certainly won’t let you down. It also comes with a great battery life, which isn’t something you could say about most smart phones. If you’re fed up with your HTC Desire HD running out of battery the same day you’ve charged it then the N8 will probably be a welcome relief.
Other good points about the Nokia N8 include that it has good audio system, an HDMI out port and a stylish design.
There are some problems with the phone though. The keyboard (virtual) included with the phone isn’t that great, and the UI isn’t up to the same standard as the HTC Sense UI. Browsing the internet on the N8 also seems to be a bit more difficult than it should be, which is a shame because that’s what most people use advanced smart phones for. Make sure you look at our Nokia N8 12 month contracts though, because for the price the phone is definitely worth considering.
