Let’s start with some of the best features of the HTC Desire HD. It comes with a fantastic UI, which is a new version of the famous and much credited HTC Sense. This new upgrade comes with a load of new features to make sure that you have everything at your fingertips. The screen, which is 4.3 inches, is also very high quality and has a great contrast ratio compared to other phones. It doesn’t have the Super AMOLED technology, but it still looks good.

Other good features of the HTC Desire HD include that it has a high quality browsing experience, something which you’d expect from a brand such as HTC, and a good eBook reader. It’s also easy to transfer your existing contacts onto the phone, which can be a real hassle on other handsets.

There are some minor downsides to the HTC Desire HD 12 month contract deals though. The main one is that you’ll have to pay a reasonable amount each month. It’s also important to keep in mind that the phone has a relatively low battery life. This is fine if you’re willing to charge the phone at least once a day, but can be frustrating if you want to take the phone on travelling trips where you may not have access to a power point for a few days.
